Monday, October 25thI finally woke myself up abruptly, because I didn't want to deal with that feeling of constant dread, guilt and disappointment. It lingered for a bit when I opened my eyes, which is odd since my conscious seemed to know that it was bogus.
R and I were walking to Virgin Megastore to try to win a a trip to London for some Beatles commemoration. The British guy on the phone had said to meet there with the following items in order to qualify to win:
We got there trying to find these items - I was getting upset because they only had lettuce, and then R ate it. I realized I had 10 missed calls from the guy. He was at the Hoyt-Schermerhorn stop and I was trying to find a map to give him directions. When I asked what subway he had taken, he said we were supposed to have met him up there at this place called Valencia. We didn't know where that was - I was upset I had overlooked this. He begrudgingly agreed to come to us (he referred to it as Imdb). But I forgot to tell Ryan and we left without waiting for him, which made me feel worse-

In backyard of NJ home with family. My brother was back there eating some homemade pastry cake. Further along in the dream, I was waking up inside the house and realizing that there was a guy posing as my dad with long hair who was getting us ready for school/work. He didn't know how to do anything, including pouring cereal, so I called him out as an imposter and tried beating him up. I slammed him against the wall a couple of times as if he were an old coat and it seems like he was dead. We attempted to hand cuff him, but he broke free.
The next morning Ryan and I woke up to our current apartment and found out there was a bomb threat made in the Daily News on our building. It would detonate when we called the contact "Hazel" in our phone. We frantically ran downstairs, scaring everyone in the building. I called the bomb squad after my mom had instructed me over the phone (eerily calm by the way) to get in touch with them. They told me if it was just an electrical problem I would be charged $35,000.00 and I started to cry. They got there, and when they searched the place, there was indeed a bomb inside.

Friday, April 30, 2010Honestly, all I remember are bits and pieces of other bits and pieces. And mood. Ever have those dreams that just have a certain atmosphere that if you were to be given a subtle keyword or image of in the future would definitely bring you back to a certain dream that can only be visualized abstractly?
In a Costco-like place, seeing all my family there walking around looking at different things to buy. My aunt had her car stolen. I walked around NY and had this indescribable feeling of things being a part of a diorama, slightly stylized....

Week of Feb. 21st
- Me being upset that my friend (who sort of looked like Brittany Murphy and also an old friend of mine) had committed suicide my slitting her wrists. I was back in time to tell my friends in order to go to where she worked at a brothel as a bartender to talk her out of it
- flooding in nyc, went to meet ryan, but mom and i got stuck in flood. we got inside a bucket and floated out to the harbor where we were swept up under the Verrazno bridge. It was cold, creepy and dark (could see rusty udnerside of bridge). I was afraid we would get lost out further so we managed to get to a shore of Hempstead/Homeade, NY where I fished my phone out of the waterlogged purse and called Ryan to tell him of our adventure. He said he had found the Twin Peaks movie "Fire Walk With Me" Special Edition, but it was a whopping $80.
- dream about a crazy movie called "The Street" where a girl is being tested as to whether she's worthy of marrying a man by an evil witch: she's confronted by a man who gets gradually younger and more handsome as time goes on, a witch's odd voice, at one point start spitting out a hoard of bugs out; at the end of the dream it turns out it's a DVD my dad is trying to watch and it has been reviewed badly by Siskel and Ebert; also at some point in the dream there was a party at someone's house (very white rooms) in the UK where everyone was getting drunk
