Had a dream that I was applying for another study abroad with NYU, and I was sort of going in and out of it and being MIA from my job - in my absence they hired Tina Fey, so I felt a little better. In this new place where I was sort of in a different country but not really, I was trying to buy food in the cafeteria and there was a huge line, where people kept cutting. It went over hedges and on rocks, until we finally got a measly place where I grabbed some weird gummy candies, chicken strips and such. There were also some donuts and rugelach that looked like crumbs in a bag. They sold reusable plates. Elyse was also there. In the souvenir shop I asked my dad to get me a huge stuffed pizza that glowed in the dark and had a smiley face. I was picking up all these leftover things from people's old rooms, like Sailor Moon cards and small plastic food boxes. I couldn't believe that I hadn't picked them up when I was still in the dorm alone. The people that had remodeled the dorms said it was hard as they found so much, like an old TV covered in dust. But there were some places with holes where they found gold and money that was hidden; they used it to buy a $300 Sega. I thought it was odd that someone could get their hands on gold in the first place.
I went to a huge auditorium where they introduced teachers, one of which was an expert on the macabre. I had $500 of bills and coins in my hands the whole time - I also found some crackers and asked if anyone wanted some. At one point I went over to this guy's desk to apply - he was flirting with some guy on the phone who was handling billing. I went through all the documents but didn't have my W2s. I also was missing some important essays, and he urged me to write in different languages about my experiences. The auditorium was an old library, and the librarian was away. We found some old books and a bunch of German wooden puppets. I told him I would fax over the documents right away. Justin Timberlake also happened to be there. I was worried that trying to go to this study abroad thing with R just being on vacation would be too much, and I was also worried I wouldn't get accepted in.

Feb. 14thIs it weird that when I dream, and then recollect those dreams I am reminder of other dreams I've had in the past? Is it because they all conglomerate into one holding place in my mind? Or have I actually had that dream again and just don't remember? Or do things from the dream that night remind me?
This Saturday morning I had a dream that I was looking at fake food in a grocery store (in the clearance section.) There was a lot of breakfast food, and a box that included eggs, waffles and bacon. All of them were made of this sort of gelatinous rubber, and I really wanted to buy some, but wasn't sure when I'd ever use it or where I'd put it.
I went outside to get on the bus to Brooklyn and there was this Jerry Stiller guy there and I found out he had made his sister sleep with him. He was trying to kill her, and then he was trying to kill R and I. We tried to run from his goons into an old church/restaurant boat. They were shooting at us, and I was eating someone's leftover apple pastry.
There was also another dream in which I was part of this Smith family that was dysfunctional; they were pointing out stories they wrote on typed, old paper, which were glued to the ceiling. I tried to have R read them, but he was not interested. One of them was about H, and he found that someone had done an art book on her. I got into a bus trying to go home but ended up going into Staten Island. There was a spot that looked familiar from an old dream, but not where my grandmother lived. Finally we got to her house, but she was very obese and unfamiliar.
Dreamed last night that we got tickets to Italy; also that we were at a party for the Stromberg family (Aunt K had give the tickets to me so that we could all go with my cousin and her boyfriend and my mom). I went upstairs to tell R, who for some reason looked like a 1930s version of Hardy with a little hat. He kept tearing up the rubber from the roof as it rained, and I had to tell him to stop or he would go through the ceiling.
Dreamed yesterday that I was sort of crafting a movie/film of my life - I was at a beach-side place where I encountered Esther and other high school people I knew - I was sort of aloof around them. Also, I had a fight with my mom. I was walking around in a bikini, but when older men started to stare at me I recoiled into my towel.
I walked on a floating wooden board on the sea at one point pretending to show these people something of my movie and then they fell in, with my towel. I was on the shore and people were having a toss game in the pool although half the terrain was covered in snow. I went running after a dog that looked like mine.

Had a dream that there as some sort of apocalyptic thing happening in a mall-ish place. I was with a group of people, and we were trying not to get caught by ravenous tigers, which were ripping people apart. We finally got into this car and were able to fly away, high above the city, where most people were wandering aimlessly. On the way we picked up a young woman and her child walking on the side of the road. We saw odd buildings (sort of like Brooklyn-esque) and then landed in the water near a cardboard floating house.
We found a better vinyl tent looking toy where we could live inside safe. It was tiny and so were we, for some reason. We used place mats for the floor, and one of our guys stole the hat from a hobo and complained he wasn't sure how he would shave. At the end of the dream, we were going to go on a hike and were worried about leaving our stuff there for looters.

Date Unknown...and then R woke me up from the dream.
Dream took place in a museum for Tim Burton. However, it had a whole bunch of other crazy artist's work there, and hands-on exhibits that looked straight out of the 70s. There was a roof to play dodge ball on, a bar Woody Allen frequented that sold really good burgers, and little miniature food. I was ogling over them for most of the dream.
Sunday morning
I had a dream that I was at my parent's wedding in a huge countryside. R's dad and grandma were there, and we were trying to get a bike to ride to the waterside. We had to wait for one to become available, so we gave him $5, but then he disappeared later. Suddenly, it seemed that we were in a huge bus (it was cheaper to have a wedding there then at a venue.)
My mom, brother and I drove to a farm that from the window I could see was having a weird animal sacrifice with three chickens. Before anything weirder happened we arrived and set foot on the grass, where there were metal clippers holding blades of grass _ I was nervous as I was barefoot. We went inside to use the bathroom, which had a window that overlooked the front lawn. There was a pond there and street signs scattered about. The photographer/farmer came in (I guess it wasn't a bathroom anymore) and R was there. We were getting married, apparently, and he was taking our picture. We cuddled together on the edge of the pond between the street signs that said our names. I was trying to hold my dress up lest I be topless. He didn't have the right camera, but he asked how I liked it and I said this was "Rockin, man" or something stupid like that.
Minutes later The Daily Show came on the TV and showed my embarrassing line. Jon Stewart was gently picking fun at me, my entire name on the screen below. He commended my word usage.
I was excited to be on TV so I went outside and tried to convince my mom to let me drive the bus back to the wedding party to bring them back to see. She said no, cause it would take up gas, that they could walk back here. She said, you can walk over there and tell them. I laughed and asked how I would tell them, "by pantomiming?" I then started to pantomime my actions of getting to the farm....

Dec. 26th
The one last night seemed to go on forever, as if it was an epic movie. It all started when I was in a "Dorm" and trying to pick up my shoes that I had left that morning. It was starting to snow and I wanted to use them (funny, considering the weather today, huh?) They had labeled my boots for sale, and I had to produce a receipt to make sure that I was telling the truth, which I was none to happy about.
While I was waiting there, some guy behind me was ordering fish. I got angry cause his fish juice was getting all over my stuff. Someone put a shrimp that was making a getaway in the trash. They led us further inside this area to show us a crazy 360 degree movie in a park with a lake and people, then another one with industrial buildings on water. When I got back to reality I decided to tell Ryan. I was back in the line again waiting for the rest of my mail, and saw that people were ready to go into the army for school, and some of them were zombie-like (missing skin, eyeballs, etc.) There was an epidemic going around and it was possible that eventually the strain might find us.
What followed was a bizarre, film-like adventure where R and I weren't sure if we were alive/human anymore. There was a secret army that was developing a fire-resistant suit that we were supposedly going to become part of, thereby losing our identities and free will. Ryan was going to find a regular job, but I was not going into the army. Had been promised to them. we decided to flee. We entered an odd world where there were mostly alive people, but we were almost fading and so easy to capture. We fled from recruiters who threatened to bring us back to the army. Then we got separated.
10 years later I was having intercourse with an actual full human to regain my life source. Some monster came up and wanted in, and hen I told him no he killed everyone else and I was running with another girl (or had I switched POVs?) I hid under a trolley/carriage while they fought. He suddenly had a samurai outfit and she beat the crap out of him. We found ourselves being escorted into a place where Cheez-Its were delicacies, and they had all different kinds. We had been here once before years ago. It was sort of a whore house but not really - like an escort service that specialized in schmoozing with the rich and stealing things. I was a meek man in a top hat, like a professor, who was ordered to go into the back with the others and prepare for the next assignment.
We went into these little stalls (like changing rooms) and were yelled out by the madam to get the money and get out, and not say thank you more than once to anyone. I walked into this flea market-esque place and tipped my hat, twiddled my cane and pretended to be non-chalant. A very dumb, Frankenstein looking man accompanied me. We approached to salesman and they offered me a price for my chocolate powder. I bargained and gave them the powder but NOT the tin, and they gave me $2.84. This went right to the madame who was taken aback. We walked into a kitchen and I praised the tile-work and jade green ensemble, saying it was a lovely kitchen to have. Then we all proceeded to the next part of the plan which was to flee to a neighboring bridge and plan to blow up part of it in anger of 9/11. This is where it REALLY seemed like a movie.
One of the men we were with pointed a gun at the bridge operator and proceeded to tell him that he was stuck in the towers during the 9/11 debacle. There was a woman and a girl with us (part of the family) and he used that as sympathy to get the guy to release the cable holding the bridge together. We were sent flying into the water, but in the end it looked like the bridge wouldn't go. Then, as if through a camera's clouded vision, I saw the bridge column fall in slow motion to the sea. There was then an epilogue where I leaned that everyone in our water-logged group OD'd on whatever crazy drugs they had been given beforehand.
Fast forward to this same exact movie behind the scenes, where I am extra and we are about to film the gory part where people get shredded up in a treadmill and their bodies severed. The Hispanic guy next to me is getting himself painted to look as if he has been cut in half, lighting shining through his torso. I volunteer to look as if my lower half is stuck in a treadmill and I am dead. Someone teaches me to sit with my butt out, back in, and my head up uncomfortably high. I'm in this position for awhile until I realize they are still setting up for the shot and I relax. I get up to stretch and when I come back the director is surveying the shot and getting ready to roll. He criticizes the position of my head, saying that's not how people look up at something. Between these odd moments and I am in between waking and sleeping.
Dec. 24th/25th
The night before Christmas I had a dream that I was watching a movie with Crispin Glover running around naked and crazy, but turned out to not be him, but another actor that looked just like him. Later in the dream, on the small prairie (as we were) I went to the bathroom and found that something was hiding in a panel behind the toilet. I was afraid to use the bathroom but I needed to, so I did quickly, holding it closed. Some freaky looking hunchback started to come in and I got out of the bathroom just in time. I found that I could project words from my breath that spelled out a mystery of my mother who was killed. It turned out be someone we knew, and who one of the girls later married. We were a group of friends that were growing up together through this ordeal. She turned up shot on the beach when the dream ended.

Friday, Dec 10th
- Dream about ships and boats; animals having to be loaded onto them
- I ran away around the corner from my old house to a person's yard which had a zoo - along the fence there were rabbits, lizards, etc.. One rabbit had the three points of death on his paw. When I walked inside I saw a sting ray tank and indoor amusement park rides. i went around to the back bathroom and used their plush lawn as a hideout place.
Saturday, Dec. 11th.
Victorian era: i was in a class outdoors on an Alice in Wonderland book and the teacher wanted us to write an essay on it - i was the only one who wrote a negative one so he decided to publish it. However my purse (the one I have in real life) I deposited in a canvas tarp with a preserved shark and it was taken away in a horse and buggy. During the fair at the same location the next day we were walking over a little bridge above mud and my white headphones were sticking out. I pulled them out and found my purse among garbage. We alerted the police who waived the fee (after a series of weird electronic store commercials) and then I logged online to see a blogger whom I would be swapping with. she was in film as well, and her links were exactly like mine.
Sunday, Dec. 12th
Was going to my high school for a reunion; to celebrate we were graduating all over again for some reason. I was wearing an emerald evening gown and was sort of proud to be seen looking older and more put together. No one really recognized me. My aunt talked to me on the way in and said she was proud i had beat cancer (?); I told her she had me mixed up with someone else and was a bit pissed that she could make such a mistake. I walked into this big auditorium where everyone was sitting in folding chairs and saw a few of my old friends. I had a huge cheeseburger that I shared with E. I walked over to get some soda, but it spilled on my dress a bit and I had to wipe it with soap and water from the bar server.
Then we started lining up outside for the procession and I climbed into a bed nearby (my old bed?) and found a dead bug (looked like a cockroach but I couldn't be sure.) They were moving ahead so I ran to catch up and found that R had surprised me by coming. I hugged him as I was so happy to have him there, then play punched him as we moved up. We had to crawl through this gold-lined window vortex and lost some of the people we were with.
When we walked out of it, we were in a small theater and I was carrying a bazooka. I turned around and said "Hi" to Sir James Earl Jones, who was sitting, smiling in the seats by himself. We walked out to a bunch of people having a party and a policeman that looked like Kevin James in a mustache. He led us into a room where Amy Sedaris was doing testing on mice. They were in little plastic bubbles and were fed Pop Tarts. There were also tiny bunnies in tiny plastic globes that would pop out and spark mutiny with the other bubbled bunnies at any given moment. Amy ate one of them like a popcorn.

- Walking behind my house into an area I've never explored, going into people's houses for sale. Finding one where a dog was running around (possibly trying to shoot a gun?) and someone picked it up, shrunk it down and put it in their mouth. I was going through someone's jewelry box and they had love notes from school inside.
- Was going on a roller coaster that went underwater, but missed it because they were busy checking my huge bag.
- Went exploring other parts of the amusement park, where they had dioramas made of cake, as well as all the toys from my childhood
- I found some old index card notes from the past
- We were having a fundraiser for something, and I was trying to print out the poster for it
- At one point there was a stuffed bagel
- I was trying to write a manga about a scientist and his daughter

Monday, October 25thI finally woke myself up abruptly, because I didn't want to deal with that feeling of constant dread, guilt and disappointment. It lingered for a bit when I opened my eyes, which is odd since my conscious seemed to know that it was bogus.
R and I were walking to Virgin Megastore to try to win a a trip to London for some Beatles commemoration. The British guy on the phone had said to meet there with the following items in order to qualify to win:
We got there trying to find these items - I was getting upset because they only had lettuce, and then R ate it. I realized I had 10 missed calls from the guy. He was at the Hoyt-Schermerhorn stop and I was trying to find a map to give him directions. When I asked what subway he had taken, he said we were supposed to have met him up there at this place called Valencia. We didn't know where that was - I was upset I had overlooked this. He begrudgingly agreed to come to us (he referred to it as Imdb). But I forgot to tell Ryan and we left without waiting for him, which made me feel worse-
- Orange
- The 12th episode of Star Wars
- Beatles DVD/CD
- 1/2 lb of arugula w/peppers
- A "fun 10 sq" (I had no idea what this was)

In backyard of NJ home with family. My brother was back there eating some homemade pastry cake. Further along in the dream, I was waking up inside the house and realizing that there was a guy posing as my dad with long hair who was getting us ready for school/work. He didn't know how to do anything, including pouring cereal, so I called him out as an imposter and tried beating him up. I slammed him against the wall a couple of times as if he were an old coat and it seems like he was dead. We attempted to hand cuff him, but he broke free.
The next morning Ryan and I woke up to our current apartment and found out there was a bomb threat made in the Daily News on our building. It would detonate when we called the contact "Hazel" in our phone. We frantically ran downstairs, scaring everyone in the building. I called the bomb squad after my mom had instructed me over the phone (eerily calm by the way) to get in touch with them. They told me if it was just an electrical problem I would be charged $35,000.00 and I started to cry. They got there, and when they searched the place, there was indeed a bomb inside.

- visiting farm with some weird art performance where a guy dressed like Hitler dances with a pig decorated with swastikas
- stopped on a camping spot in a pretty spring forest where I saw a bunch of baby animals that had been born; there was a family of foxes that looked at us, and I described them as having the faces of children and fuzzy wisps of fur
- visited an arcade as Robin Williams' daughter and ordered chinese, where I kept finding broke utensils in my food; tried (and failed) at stealing someone's quarters....there were also some weird coins with cameo like designs on them
- realized that there was an apartment open above ours...went and investigated and found that it was gigantic and looked out to the water with castle-like buildings in BG. the kitchen was airy and big (modern looking), there were four bedrooms: one was european looking with a slanted ceiling and four paned window, one had its own bathroom; i was talking to the people who lived there to see if Ryan and our two roommates (?) could move in at some point; then my uncle J and G hyrbid started yelling about the government and money and saying we couldn't stay, so we fought and I ran back to tell Ryan we needed to get the apt ASAP

Aug 5, 2007 - This past weekend I finally started having dreams that I could remember again. In the first one, I was in New York or some city, and I was in a “band” for some reason with M. He was hanging out with N a lot, so I was getting pretty pissed off. But then, when I confronted him about it, he said that he never stopped thinking about me and didn’t know how to say it. He didn’t know if I felt the same way. Then he said he really felt like we had a connection. So we left the place and ran around trying to sleep together somewhere, even trying the street. We were caught by B, and he was really angry that we ditched the band so we had to be apart for awhile. The rest of the dream was me looking back on how we first met (in a kiddie pool????) with me in a bathing suit. We were at this house where a woman was trying to poison her children with cake and I was trying to kill her. There was for some reason a company picnic going on then.
The next was one in which I was at a pool with a bunch of people. At some point in the dream I got to this class where there are French people, and I have teach them about reading menus. They are amazed that Americans have so much to choose from. Then this person leaves a block of drugs and me and this other group of people know we have to smuggle it out. I’m really angry that I have to do this, and I realize that my "boyfriend" is the one who set me up.....N. We get to this place where he’s on a computer. It resembles his face, but its different, but I know its him. I get so angry I go after him and start beating him up for betraying me and making me do it.
I also had a dream where I was riding the Staten Island Ferry and I was almost going crazy, sleeping with different people and not knowing where to turn. I was trying to get into this museum, but I wasn't allowed. Then Prof found my diaries and he published them in a book, and even crashed Paris Hilton’s birthday party to announce it t the whole town. I couldn't wait to tell my family that i had been published; it was like i was meant to do it all my life, and I felt this immense satisfaction. i needed to get back the original book though, cause it was given to me by J, and he had written a note on the back cover.
The next dream wasn't as sad. I had a dream that I was at this kid S from kindergarten's house, and he was grown up a little. I was trying to remember the place from when I actually went there, and I went around the yard to look at all the places we stood and talked and stuff. I couldn’t find any carvings from when we were there, but there were lots from other people. M was there in towel, and they had made the place up since I’d been there. I was sad because it seems like he hadn't remembered me, his first “crush.” Every other girl had their name up there. It wasn't sad though. It was pretty nice to remember it.
